BESIG

Events Coordinator

I am the Events Coordinator for IATEFL BESIG, the Business English Special Interest Group of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language.

BESIG is a professional body representing the interests, and serving the needs, of business English teachers globally. It offers members and non-members a wide range of possibilities for continued professional development and networking. With its conferences, online events, publications and discussion forums, BESIG has made an invaluable contribution to the international business English teaching community.

MELTA

Chair, Events Coordinator and Website Administrator

I served on the Board of the IATEFL-affiliated Munich English Language Teachers Association from 2010-2016, firstly as Events Coordinator and then as Chair and Web Administrator.

MELTA is a regional professional association for all teachers of English working in the Munich area. It is part of a wider network of English teachers’ organizations throughout the world and has especially close ties to the seven other Teaching Associations based in Germany. MELTA offers regular professional development events, informative newsletters and valuable networking opportunities to its membership base of approximately 350.
